AD★STAR®, commonly known as block-bottom sacks, are among the finest tear- and break-resistant bags available. Adhesive-free and made by a special heat-welding process from coated polypropylene fabric patented worldwide by Starlinger.
They are produced as one-layer block-bottom valve bags, or as open-mouth bags with a block bottom, to suit the product being packed. They suit manual filling or automatic filling-and-sealing machines on the production line.
Strong, light and economical
AD★STAR® bags are high-strength, water- and weather-resistant, withstand rough handling and are well suited to palletised storage with their brick-shaped pack. They are versatile, recyclable, eco-friendly and economical.
Thanks to the material and process, an average 50 kg AD★STAR® cement sack can weigh as little as 75 g, compared with around 180 g for a 3-layer paper bag and 150 g for a PE-film bag. That means a lower cost per bag and a smaller environmental footprint.
Applications
Suitable for all free-flowing goods: cement, building materials, fertilizer, chemicals and resin, as well as flour, sugar and animal feed.
High-quality printed BOPP film can also be laminated to the fabric, opening up the consumer-bag sector with enormous potential, especially in industrial countries.
